    TromaDance takes place concurrently with the Sundance Film Festival, which is January 22-25, 2007. Please keep checking www.tromadance.com for more information on specific events and times as we come closer to the festival.

  • How do I submit a film to TromaDance?

    You may send your film (along with the official entry form, available here) to the following address:

    Entries will not be returned.

  • What formats can I submit?

    NTSC DVD, NTSC VHS, PAL DVD, PAL VHS.

  • What is the submisson deadline for entries?

    Submissions are due no later than midnight, December 15, 2006.

  • If I submit my film to TromaDance, does that mean I lose the ownership of my film? Also, if my film is accepted, does that mean that I can’t have it play at any other festivals? You bastards!

    Absolutely not. The submission/release form needed is for publicity purposes should your film be accepted to the festival. There is no exclusivity of any kind involved in submitting your film to TromaDance.

  • What types of films does TromaDance accept? Shorts or features? Horror or romantic melodrama?

    The TromaDance Film Festival selection committee considers all films, despite content or length. What matters is the quality and the originality of the film.

  • How will I know if my film is accepted to the festival? / Why haven’t I heard back from TromaDance about my Film?

    Unfortunately, due to the amount of entries received, we cannot communicate with all submissions as to their status. If your film is selected, you will be contacted by the festival committee.

  • Will TromaDance consider an unfinished film (work-in-progress)?

    Absolutely! In your submission form, you should note that your film is unfinished.
